These terms were written to be clear and honest about how RelationshipAI works today. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you're operating RelationshipAI, have a qualified lawyer review them (and the Privacy Policy), in particular the sections on liability, refunds and governing law for your jurisdiction, before relying on them or launching more widely.
What RelationshipAI is (and isn't)
RelationshipAI is an AI-powered tool for reflecting on your relationships, preparing for difficult conversations, and practicing how you communicate. It is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Replies are generated by an AI model, can be wrong or incomplete, and should be treated as one input to your own judgment. RelationshipAI is not an emergency service: if you or someone else is in danger, or you're having thoughts of harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline in your country right away.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you are, that the information you give is accurate, and that you'll keep your login details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Your account
You need an account to use the product. We may ask you to verify your email address before the AI features unlock. You can export your data or delete your account yourself at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
Acceptable use
Don't use RelationshipAI to harass, stalk, threaten, or manipulate another person; to plan or conceal abuse, coercion, or violence; to generate unlawful content; or to attack, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, and don't attempt to access other people's accounts or data. Automated use (scripts, bots) beyond normal personal use isn't allowed. You're also asked to be thoughtful about information you enter about other people. See the section on third-party information in our Privacy Policy.
Your content
What you write and upload stays yours. You give RelationshipAI permission to store and process it, including sending it to our AI provider, solely to run the service for you as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't sell your content.
Plans, billing and fair use
RelationshipAI offers a Free plan and paid subscriptions (Pro and Premium) billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Prices and plan limits are shown on the pricing section and may change; if they change for a plan you've already paid for, the change applies from your next billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account page and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for; except where the law gives you a right to a refund, payments are not refundable. Paid plans are meant for normal personal use: we apply a generous monthly fair-use limit on AI messages so that no single account can run up unreasonable costs, and the Free plan has its own daily and lifetime limits. The current limits are shown in the product.
Availability and changes
RelationshipAI is an early-stage product and is provided as it is. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We'll try to give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect you.
No warranties, and limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RelationshipAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud), or your rights as a consumer under mandatory local law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we'll tell you in the product or by email. Continuing to use RelationshipAI after the change means you accept the updated terms.
